MISSION STATEMENT
Our business is mining bauxite and producing alumina. We will produce
alumina consistently at the quantity, quality and cost we have committed to,
while operating in a safe, environmentally responsible and people focused
manner.
People Focused means recognising that people are WINDALCO's greatest
asset and considering their needs and ideas is critical to the success of
the Company.
Cost means the product cost committed to with our business partners.
Consistently means achieving and maintaining process stability,
continually improving practices and procedures and plant/ equipment
reliability.
Quantity means the annual target alumina tonnage.
Quality means meeting the product specifications agreed with our
customers.
Safe means behaving in accordance with our safety and health policy.
Environmentally Responsible means meeting or surpassing environmental
standards and respecting the concerns of the communities we impact.
