EDUCATION
Everyone should have a fair chance to a good education. While it would not
be possible for us to send all the children in our operating areas to
school, we try to assist by helping schools provide a comfortable atmosphere
that is conducive to learning. We assist with the funding for
infrastructural projects. We lend support by donating furniture and
equipment and we also dedicate time to sharing valuable leadership and
personal development tips with the students.
In addition to the support above, we have committed over one million
Jamaican dollars to fund our tertiary scholarships and grants programme
which is in place at the University of the West Indies, University of
Technology, Northern Caribbean University, College of Agriculture, Science
and Education and the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts.
We also assist parents with payments for book rentals, purchase of uniforms
and the payment of CXC examination fees. We believe in giving as many
persons as possible, the chance to be the best that they can be.
